Anyone know where in Ireland would one be most likely to come across the sirname Parker?

Parker seems to have been recorded in Ireland since mediaeval times, although the incidence of the surname increased greatly during the 17th century.  Hence, we might assume that the majority of Parkers were settlers.  The name occurs most widely in Ulster (the historic province, rather than the modern political entity).  Many settlers there were of Scots origin, although Parker does not strike me as being particularly Scottish.  It seems to derive from the French Parquier, meaning park-keeper, and there is an Irish form of Pairceir.
