38 Trongate, Lanarkshire

Some of my relatives seem to be living at 38 Trongate, Lanarkshire when the 1861 scottish census took place. Does anyone know what this place used to be as there were 41 people at the same address!

Can anyone help please?

I am looking for a marriage between an Archibald Wilson from Ireland and a lady named Barbra from Ayrshire, Scotland (unsure of last name). I recon they got married before 1848 as they had a son in that year named Stafford. Do you think you could help??

Strange! I know stafford (the son) was born in Renfreshire and in 1861 he and his parents were living at 38 Trongate, Lanarkshire
