Armed forces birth

I need help in trying to find a birth of one of my ancestors.  Details are

Henry Charles Bonnett, born 1824 in Hessen Nassau, Preussen, Germany (british citizen).  On his marriage certificate his father is named as John Bonnett.

I would be very grateful for any help
