Can anyone help:   St. Mary's church, Oldham, Lancashire c1818 - marriage at this church 1851 - baptism 1818 (born Bury)
Where would this church be and is it still standing???

Sal.  Also thanks for the offer./  If time and possible - Marriage of Thomas Ogden/Harriet Grindrod, 12 May 1851 - need Harriet's fathers name -   Thomas Ogden d.o.b. possibly Oct/Nov 1818 - parents Charles Ogden/Betty Barnes .   Harriet was born 1818 Bury area - possibly christened at St. Mary's church ?

Found this baptism on the lancashire online parish clerk website.

Thos Ogden, 8 nov 1818 at st marys oldham father Charles Ogden, mother Betty, abode Walk Mill, fathers occupation Hatter.

There are 5 other children with same parents,
Betty Ogden baptised 5 feb 1815
Jas Ogden baptised 6 Oct 1816
Wm Ogden baptised 7 Jan 1821
Joseph Ogden 13 Jul 1823
Ann Ogden 28 Aug 1825.

Hope these are yours, i will check the marriages when i go to the archives next week.

Just found out from a Grindrod contact in New Jersey that Harriet's father is down as Edmund.    Also if time and able could you check on Edmund/Edwards marriage:  2 Mar. 1818 to Hannah Reed, Saint  Mary, Bury/Oldham?, Lancashire - and if poss. where I would get a certificate/record.
Noticed you   had Jersey C.I. down on your list.   I have contacts there - if I can help with anything please ask.   I cannot promise but can try.

I will check to see if i can find the marriage for Harriets parents at St Marys, Oldham.

I checked Thomas Ogdens baptism 8 Nov 1818, just to make sure that it was correct with what i had posted earlier and it is.

I looked for the marriage for Edmund/Edward Grindrod 2 march 1818 to Hannah Reed couldn't find it in St Mary's Oldham so it is likely to be St Mary's Bury.

St Mary's Bury register is at Central library Manchester.

Thomas Ogdens marriage to Harriet i didn't find as i forgot to write the date of marriage down and searched the wrong years   I will be going again on monday so i will get that for you then
