The MERRICK Family - Norton Canon 1700 to 1855

hi...can anyone help me in my research....my earliest g.g.g.g.g grandfather was edward merrick born 1700 in norton canon......31 descendants all born norton canon except...3 in letton   1 in clodock   and 1 in bridge sollars....these children were born in the towns their mothers were from,but inevitably older siblings were born in norton canon.....in the mid 1800`s marianne merrick married daniel oakes in liverpool.....i live in liverpool and know absolutely nothing about the area of herefordshire where my ancestors were from....indeed,there could well be merricks still in norton canon/letton/bridge sollars....i`d like someone to educate me on the area,/name of norton canon parish...are there any headstones of merricks in churchyard. etc.and possibly of any family history of the merricks from this area,if possible....thanks and regards....allan oakes..william merricks g.g.g.g.g grandson
