Hi Dave,

Have had some research passed on. Wondered when you had time if you can confirm or add detail for me if possible.  Would like to confirm all BMD if poss, and fill in any gaps if you can.  Will give you what I know, any info appreciated.

Gibbons/Gibbins

Richard Gibbons/Gibbins c1695 Siddington died c1743 Kemble.

Hester Timberell c1699 - c1774 Kemble.  This pair married 28/11/1720 Siddington (marriage from IGI)

Son of Richard/Hester:

John Gibbons/Gibbins born c1725 Kemble.

Ann/e (Ludlow?) c1745 Kemble? married  c1767 in Kemble, no death dates known, need to confirm this link as son of Richard.

Son of John & Anne:  There are other children but this is my line, need to confirm this link as son.

John Gibbons/Gibbins c1770 Kemble died 1849 Sapperton Glos.  wife Jane Beal? born c1783, poss Kemble/Oaksey died 1827 Sapperton, Glos. This pair married c1803 in Oaksey?

Children of John/Jane born in Oaksey:

Thomas c1803
John c1806
Mary c1809
Henry c1812

Other children born Glos, by1815 the family moved to Sapperton Glos.

Hi Cas, Long time no hear.   I'll be glad to help but I think Kemble was only part of Wilts 1837 to 1897.   Siddington is Gloucestershire as is Sapperton.   I'll check and see what I can do.

As expected no joy on Kemble, Siddington or Sapperton - all Gloucestershire.

Found the following in Oaksey............
Marriage 6 Jun 1803 John Gibbons, otp, and Jane Beal, otp, banns, Witnesses Wm Gibbons and Isaac (looks like) Button.
Baptism 10 Jun 1803 Thomas son of John and Jane Gibbons

Hi Dave, many thanks for the info you have given, if you have time when you next visit...

Could you look for a possible Jane Beal born c1783, Oaksey, also the baptisms of the children who were born Oaksey, or perhaps you could not locate?

Also were all registers for Kemble passed to Gloucester when the boundaries changed?  Would I find all other info at Glouc?

Thanks for your good wishes Cas, I'll see what pops up.   I think I looked for Jane Beal but with my memory these days could have been mistaken 

The parish records for Kemble are not at WSRO as for the rest, Philimore and BTs I'll have to see.   I'll get back to you.

There are also other siblings same parents in the area.

James Beale - 20 Nov 1785

On Genuki Hankerton, is quite near Oaksey, Jane died in 1827 age 44, also named some of her children Thomas, Mary and James, so think it is a good possible she is mine, as you know the area what do you think?

On your future visits to WRO would appreciate if you can have a peek to see if you can maybe locate parents marriage or shed any more light...
