(Somerset) 1871 Census Lookup Request Please For Henry Rossiter born 1864

Hi,

I am looking for information please about the parents and siblings of Henry " Harry" Silas Rossiter born circa 1864 in Frome.

He married Laura Greenwood ( born Cardiff in 1869) in 1888 at Newport, Monmouthshire.

In the 1901 Census they had at least 3 children:-
Beatrice born circa 1894 in Llanfechfan
Mabel born circa 1896 in Llanfechfan
Victor born circa 1900 in Caldicot near Newport.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

Hi Newfy,

There's still a long way to go. There's quite a bit on line already through other researchers. I'm tackling the whole family tree rather than just my own line.

My database is working its way to 16,500 Rossiters or Rossiter-related individuals but there's a massive amount to do. Hopefully, when I have cleared some of the duplications and other garbage out of my database I might get round to putting out a release.But it won't be in the near future and definitely not over Christmas!! LOL!!

This query is to help out a researcher in Wales who is not online so hopefully I can give him a most welcome Christmas present by linking up this relative of his with his ancestors.

[Census says Silas is married but no wife at home.These Rossiters sure give you the run around?]

Thanks again for that. Found a marriage for Silas at Frome in Sept Str 1861 to either Anna Maria Crook or Susannah Webley.

Is there any way he can track down which one he married please?
