Lost Relatives!? Alan Bragg to Canada
« on: Monday 11 December 06 19:51 GMT (UK) »
Hi,

This is my first time searching for an overseas relative and I'm not sure whether I will get any answers but here goes ...

My Great Uncle moved to Canada possibly Vancouver! His name is/was Alan Bragg, born c1928 in Hounslow, Middlesex.

Probably a long shot but ... Is there anyway to trace him or his family ??

cheers in advance

Lee  ;)

I am assuming your uncle probably immigrated sometime in the late 40's to early 50's? Here is a link that will let you know exactly what you will need to do to obtain a copy of the immigration records.

Here is a link that you can search for the telephone number and address.

If you are pretty sure they moved to B.C., here is a site that you can search for names in the cemeteries. (It is not complete.)

Hi Janice,

Thanks for the links, I will get on to them right away!

cheers for your quick reply

edit** i have checked the cemetry site and thankfully he isnt on there yet or he changed his name. The immigration record need him to be dead for 20years or i need the permission of him. So the only hope is to ring around Canada looking for him  ;D They shouldnt mind this time of year!  ;)
