BURROUGH(S)/BURROWS of Suffolk

There is some discussion that our family is linked to the Burroughs family originally from Wickhambrook and Pettaugh, Suffolk in the 1500 & 1600s, based on a genteic DNA result.  The key figure is a Rev George Burroughs who was hanged in the Salem witch trial in the USA (later exonerated I might add!!).  I would be very keen to make contact with anyone who is descended from siblings or relatives of the following people. I'm only missing about 6 or 7 generations to connect with my family from Mattishall Burgh in Norfolk!!!!!!

My name is David. I have a family with the Burroughs surname. My 11th great grandfather's name is Thomas Burrough. He was born in 1531 at Wickhambrook, England, and he died on June 19, 1597 at the same place. He was married to Bridget Higham, daughter of Thomas Heigham and Phyllis Waldegrave. Thomas Burrough and Bridget Higham were married around 1564 in Wickhambrook, England. From this marriage is a George Burroughs who married Francis Sparrow. They are my 10th great-grandparents.  Thomas Burrough's parents are William Burroughs and Sarah Power.

Hi David and Kevin. Thomas Burrough of Wickhambrook is my 10th great grandfather  His direct lineal descendant Captain Thomas Francis Burrough is my great, great grandfather who was killed in Belgium in WWI.
