Just to update the kind people who have been helping me out... Jennifer Noolan of the Noradjuha cemetery replied very promptly to my query and David is indeed buried there, though named as Curry rather than Currie. He was in an unmarked grave but the cemetery trust has marked his grave with a plaque, as they have done for all the unmarked graves there.
