WWII Military Hospitals

Does anyone have any knowledge of Clifton Military Hospital, thought to be in the Exeter area towards the end of WWII.
any information much appreciated

Although it's 60 years since I was stationed at a Military Psychiatric Hospital in Scotland, I seem to recall that Clifton M.H. was also a psychiatric hospital.  Sorry that I can't be more specific.

There's quite a list for WW1 Military Hospitals but I can't find too much on WW2 !! .... as you've probably already found out !!  :-\

I did find a Clifton Hospital .... but it was in Yorkshire and it was used during WW2 ........

I wonder if an email here might bring you some local information ...

Many thanks for that, tried the Devon Libraries Local Studies Service but drew a blank, they referred me to Devon Record Office who need the request in writing, at least you have given me a kick start.
