Hello:
I might be in the wrong area. I am trying to find a George Pyburn who served in World War 1. He was from Sunderland, England. He was also wounded, if that is any help. I know that is not very much info, but at this time that is all I have.

Hi there,the only George Pyburn that l could find that,matched your George,sadly died April 1992 he was 80 years old,and seemed to have died in Sunderland.
   If you need anymore info regarding this gentleman,l will try and find more if you wish.

there was no george pyburn who served overseas in ww1 with the army,there was a arthur,george pyburn who served with the machine gun corps as pte 107926,he came from lamesley,co durham,aged about 19 when the war ended,mack
military history,mainly ww1,manchester pals battalions,tyneside irish +tyneside scottish brigades,leeds,liverpool,accrington,birmingham,hull,barnsley,swansea and salford pals.
