PR lookup Atworth - AMOR

I have been searching for some time to find the birth of George AMOR circa 1838.   There is some evidence that he may have been born in Atworth, I would be grateful if anyone has access to the PRs and can check this for me.

Hi Harry
The only likely George Amor in 1851 was born in Pewsey.   Did your George leave Wiltshire?   I'll have a look in Atworth after Xmas.

Thanks for the rapid response - yes George left Wiltshire between 1841 (when he was in Corsham) and 1851 (Reading).

Groom: James AMOR
Bride: Jane GUNTER 
Married on 20th NOV 1836
At parish Saltford

Births Jun qtr 1841 
Mary Amor:   Bath    (11   21)

In case it helps locate the baptism I see George through the censuses lists his place of birth as what looks more like Aldworth in 1851 (pronunciation perhaps), he lists Atworth in 1861 and 1871. Then he lists his place of birth as Saltford in 1881, 1891 and 1901. He could not decide if Saltford was in Wiltshire or Somerset.  This could make Brian's possible marriage of his parents James and Jane very interesting.

The surname GUNTER has recently come up, so this could be corroboration.   I'm waiting for a copy of a birth certificate which should prove the link.

There is the birth listed on Bath BMD for Mary AMOR in 1841 Lansdown Mothers Maiden Name GUNTER Harry 

Also  see the death of Mary AMOR 1841 Lansdown aged 1 which could explain why she is not on 1851 Census
