1851 Census - DAVIES, John Caswell
« on: Thursday 21 December 06 02:40 GMT (UK) »
Hi
Would appreciate a look-up in the 1851 Census for my family please.  They are
DAVIES, John Caswell b 1820 Leominster
    "      , Elizabeth b 1824 Almeley
    "      ,       "        b 1846     "
     "     , Sarah b 1846      "
      "    , Martha b 1851    "
Hope to find earlier children as they were married in 1841.
Thanks for you help.

Hi EBN
Sorry for not replying sooner, son and grandkids arrived for Xmas and haven't had a sane moment since.  I have no parents for my John Caswell Davies, so am wondering if this is his father.  Will have to dig a bit further.  Would love the info on this one, just in case he's mine.  Can't imagine there would be too many around with a name like that.
Thanks for the info.

There seem to be a couple of possibilities for a marriage - Kington or Pembridge in 1841 - do you know which it is, and if you have the marriage certificate ?
If not the marriage certificate will be obtainable by the look of it from Kington Register Office in either case.
That will give the father's name for you to confirm.
