HAMMOND Marriage 1761

Wondered if anybody could help me with this one

John Hammond (b Gislingham abt 1736) married Elizabeth Clark ( b Market Weston abt 1741) 18.10.1761 in Gislingham

I am trying to find out the names of their children

I looked at Gislingham PRs, but could not find a baptism for John Hammond ~1736, I also checked the BTs, and the closest is this:

John s/o John and Jane Howard bap 16 Nov 1735
Elizabeth d/o John and Jane Howard bap 16 Feb 1737

However, I did find one baptism ~1761 onwards which may be a child of your John Hammond.

Elizabeth d/o John and Elizabeth Hammant, bap 16 Jun 1765

The fiche of the PRs were really feint and difficult to read, but this was the only Hammant baptism around this time on the BTs also.

It is unfortunate nothing substantial showed up after your effort. Thanks anyway. There is a chance John and Elizabeth moved on to Gipping and some offspring may have been born there.
