Great stuff foggyjano  :D

You can't view the certificate online, you have to order it!

My preferred method, for all types of certificate is via the Local Registry Office who recorded the event in the first place - it's usually quicker than the General Registry Office and they will take the time to check the information you give them, so as to ensure that you do not pay for a certificate which is of no use to you.

Make sure you include as much info as you have!

In the case of weddings, parents names, ages at wedding, addresses if you know them that kind of thing, anything you know!

Are you also going to apply for the Southampton death certificate too?

Wendi :)

Hi Wendi, yes I will get a copy of both certifcates for my records.. which is building up quite nicely, I hope Leslie death cert tells me reason for his death, but i have a feeling it will not give me much info as I would of liked.. roll on pay day when i can pay for them! ;)
