marriage John Thyne/Thynne to Ellen Kerin

I am trying to find the mnarriage of a John Thyne to an Ellen ( I think Kerin) and details of that marriage. As far as I am aware they were married in Clare, Ireland and moved to England (Winterbourne, Bristol) to be found in the 1871,1881 and 1891 censuses.
I think John may then have died. In 1901 there is no sign of Ellen or children. I was wondering if they all then went back to Ireland and lived there.

Hello Joanna,
looking on Family Search - there is an entry for Patrick Thyne b 1869 Limerick -parents John and Ellen Kerns. It may be that your family lived on the borders of either county. Michael (for these parents) is not there.
If all else fails you could perhaps send for Patrick's certificate to get a location and go from there. Marriages were not indexed (for Catholics anyway) until about 1865 I think and going off Michael's age you may just be lucky.
