Pre 1837 burial lookup please
« on: Thursday 28 December 06 14:31 GMT (UK) »
Hi, please is it possible for anyone to do a pre 1837 burial lookup for me in Lancashire, it is a Elizabeth Royle wife of John and I think she would have died sometime between 1821 to 1828 in either Eccles or Barton upon Irwell.

Many Thanks

Hi Anna
There are no Royle burials for Eccles or Barton on the NBI I'm sorry to say.

The only Elizabeth Royle's I could find were in Ashton upon Mersey.

How old would your Elizabeth be ?  There are quite a few.

How is your leg?  I hope you are getting around much better now.

Take care
love

Hi Su, Thanks very much for that, I think Elizabeth might have died in 1821/1822, maybe in her 30's/40's. Will hopefully be having the cast off in about 6 weeks time, am counting down the days, am still non weightbearing, fed up and frustrated though, am really starting to miss going to work and seeing the people there.

Thanks again and Happy New Year!

Hi Anna
Here are the Ashton upon Mersey burials just in case they are of any use to you.

8.5.1820 age 43
27.2.1825 age 63
28.12.1828 age 24

The above burials are at St. Martin's.

Poor old you, you must be totally fed up.  My hubby has broken both his ankles (one twice) in the past, so I know what you are going through.
Chin up...make the most of the rest to do some research.
Take care
Lots of Love

Hi Su, Thanks very much for that, I will be going to Lichfield on Tuesday to research my familytree, I have been once already in my wheelchair and managed to get there and back fine, no steps and a lift!, feel sorry for your partner breaking one bone twice, I have broken my left arm and right leg now and don't intend to break any more bones!

Thanks again
