we are new.
we are a danish-russian couple living in london and interested in danes and russians in this country.
any ideas?
at the moment our greatest interest is two buril places -
salomea andronikova halpern.d1982
and maria vorobyeva-stebelskaya (marevna)  d.1984

Welcome to rootschat

Have you tried looking at www.ancestry.co.uk and searching for their death certificates? You would then know where to start searching for burials as it would probably be close to where they died. You would also learn who registered their deaths - unless you know that already.

Marevna Vorobieff (b 14 Feb 1892) death registered May 1984; approx age  92.  Wstminster, London  15 1556

Found using www.ancestry.co.uk.   Using the above information a copy of the death certificate can be bought which will show who registered her death.

It is definitely her!
Huge TY to all of you!
We are sooo new at this that really don't know where to start.
But as we are not researching our families, we are not willing yet to pay for death certs etc.
So hopefully wwe'll be able to pick up some ideas from this wonderful site!

Just found Salome Halpern  bc 1889, death registered May qtr, 1982 Westminster 15  1751.

As you know both died in Westminster you might be able to locate graves or crematoriums  in that area. Death certificates would tell you who notified the deaths which might give you another link
They only cost £7
