Plantation of North Wexford 1610
« on: Sunday 31 December 06 13:53 GMT (UK) »
Does anyone know where I could find any source materials regarding the plantation of North Wexford that took place around 1610 on lands confiscated from the MacMurrough - Kavanagh estates ? Do lists of the planters exist ?

Any suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi skill,

The names of Sir Laurence Esmonde, Sir Edward Fisher and Sir Richard Cook are mentioned in an article on a Library Ireland webpage. The article was about "James I and Ireland" and was taken from "A History of Ireland" by Eleanor Hull
