Devon newspapers circa 1914
« on: Thursday 18 November 04 22:20 GMT (UK) »
We have a newspaper cutting with a photograph headed '5 Okehampton brothers go to war'

Does anyone have any ideas what papers this may have come from.  Also any ideas as to how we go about getting a copy from the original (bearing in mind that we have had 2 World Wars since then)

Our cutting is very fragile and very lined.

Thanks for any help

Hi there
The Mid Devon Advertiser is a popular one in this area covering stories from Okehampton.  The Newton Abbot Library has copies of this Newspaper on Film. It has some other local papers too which the library could help with.

Hope this might help
