Thomason Of Lancashire
« on: Thursday 04 January 07 20:31 GMT (UK) »
If someone could assist I'd be really grateful.

Looking for Jenny Thomason wife of James Banister, whom she married on 13 June 1866 at St Andrews Parish Church, Leyland Lancashire. I have their marriage certificate which gives her father as Samuel Thomason, Shoe Maker. That unfortunately is as far as I've been able to get with her side. In the 1871 Census Jenny Thomason is shown as aged 32 so I guess she was born around 1839, (if my maths are right!!).

As I've already said any help would be rellay appreciated.

Many Thanks

Nigel

Hi Nigel,

Welcome to Rootschat  8)

Was she born Poulton le Fylde?

I see she is visiting someone in 1851, but look who I can see in 1851 at Poulton le Fylde:
1851
HO107/2269 580 15
Poulton Le Fylde
Bull Street

Samuel Thomason, head, 55, Shoemaker, b. Poulton
Jenny, wife, 57, b. Bispham?
James, son, 17, Farm Lab, b. Poulton

Will try and find the family in 1841.

Hi Nigel. I have a long line of Banisters who were from Leyland and who were married and christened in St Andrew's. I've sent you a PM detailing them.
