Help and advice needed to find Mr Charles

MY GGGrandfather Phillip Charles-Soap Manufacturer
Detail's I obtained from my GGrandfather's marriage certificate

My GGrandfather
                           Phillip Charles born 1852 Germany
Detail's I obtained from 1891 &1901 census.
ON the 1901 census it had BS, reading the threads on this board I gather he could of obtained this status when he married in 1892.


My biggest problem is that I have no understanding of German language. I have tried some of the websites suggested but have had no luck . I wondered if there was any English speaking web sites that I could explore.
