Rachel Jones of Bolton

As I've had such a fantastic response from people on here I thought I'd try this one!

I'm looking for any information whatsever on Rachel Jones, from talking to my Grand mother, she's told me that her mum, (Rachel), was born 23 May 1877 in either Bolton or Wales, (I suspect Bolton).

Rachel married Joseph Aspinall Hayes on 08 September 1900 at St Mark, Bolton, Lancashire. On the marriage certificate the space for Rachel's father in blank so I suspect that she was born out of wedlock.

Try as I might, I cannot find her, and I really would like to then I can show my Grand mother on her next birthday, (her 99th). I've looked on Ancestry.co.uk, and come up completely blank.

As always any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you seen the Rachel Jones 1877 servant Prees Wem Sallops could be the Welsh connection 1891 Robert Taylor 39 elementary school teacher and his family

Theres another Jones family on page though Thomas 64 and wife Elizabeth 57 b Sallops

Think Charlotte could be mother as shes boarding with them on 1901 census so adds up.

I hope she was born in Bolton rather than Shropshie or Wales, to narrow it down ! :P  :P  :D
