Census refs as follows -

1841 HO107/59 Fol 3 p1
1851 No record found
1861 RG9/373 Fol 22 pp16 & 17

I have refs for Phoebe Mills nee Lane (because of her marr to Job Mills) in later censuses.

I think she died in Mar 1892 age 53 in Croyden. Baptised Phebe Lane 22 Apr 1838 Bisham Berks par William Lane & Rebecca (IGI). A parent search under William Lane & Rebecca brings up quite a few likely bapts of children.

The IGI has the following bapts for children of William & Rebecca, may not all be theirs, but are possibilities -
Abraham 1837 (b 1835) Weslyan, Newport Pagnall, Bucks
David 1837 (b1833)          ditto
William 1830                      ditto
Rebecca 1835 Donington Wood Shrops
Trinnet 1841 St georges, reading Berks
George 1830 New Windsor berks
Emma 1832        ditto
Frederick 1843 Walton on Thames Surrey

I'd be interested in any info you have on the Mills families. I don't have any children for Job & Phoebe. Do you know who his parents were? or when he & Phoebe married?

They seem to have a lot of connections with the Penfolds which I haven't figured out either.

Thanks for all that information, I think Trinett is definitely their child which I didnt know about as that name runs in the family.  I dont know when Phoebe and Job got married or if they had any children, all the census seem to say they didnt.

This is what I have on the Mills family.

Aaron Mills 1808 parents Joseph Mills and Naomi Franklynn
Married Flora Cooper 1801 and child
Aaaron Mills 1829 - 1901
married Mary A Franklynn 1831-1891
Children Elizabeth Mills 1854
Jemima Mills 1858, George Mills 1859, William Mills 1863, Aaron Mills 1870, Susan Mills 1873, Mary Ann Mills 1875
Jemima Mills married Fred Smith1859 who was my great great Uncle.
Children Frederick Smith 1879, Jemima Smith 1878, Nelson Smith 1880, Noah Smith 1879, Alice Smith, 1884, Samuel Smith 1886, they all lived in Mitcham Surrey.

So that is two of my family marrying into the Mills Family.

Now also Mary Ann Mills 1875 married Alfred Lane 1868 his father was George Lane 1842 - 1896.

So it looks like the Smiths, Lanes and Mills were always together.

I have Penfolds in my tree but they seem to marry my Gardiner thread.

I am still not sure about that 1841 census for William and Rebecca as that says he is an Ag Labourer.

If you need to know anything about any of these people let me know
