I cannot readily see the birth registration for John but those for William and Hannah seem to be available on Free BMD
1837 Ripon OND quarter 23 415 - William Rudd
1841 Ripon AMJ quarter 23 514 - Hannah Rudds
If you were to obtain one of these two certificates it should provide you with Mary’s maiden name (if all else fails and you really want to know).
I have had a look on the full GRO index and I am not convinced that the reference for Hannah has been transcribed correctly. It is a duplicated entry but both are very indistinct. It looks more like 324 or 329 (than 514) to me and if you do decide to get a certificate it might be better to go for William's
