Hi DD,

I think that would come under the Vale of Glamorgan Register Office.

I've got birth and death certificates for Barry dating from 1904 to 1919 and the registration district is Cardiff, sub district St Nicholas. Suspect Barry Docks would be the same.

hi dolly there is no mention of the brash family in the street directories for 1897 this does not mean they are not there, as only the householder is mentioned, but there are members of brash family still living in barry, micheal brash is one, known as iky also a sister, if you contacted the barry and district news i am sure you would get a response, kali.

Thank's again Kali, you have already done a search of my Brash family. I have a couple of ideas that would involve applying for  Birth certs, so was asking which Registration office would hold the Barry registers, to which the   above replies kindly gave me the info.. As for living Brashes  now in Barry, I can't see there  would be any connections to mine as my Grandfather was the only surviving son, it is this mystery Mary Brash I found on the UK 1901 census  who states she was born in Barry Docks 1894.. I found no marriage or death or any other trace of her .. Thank's all the same tho'.you are all so helpful .. Regards Dolly.
