Looking for William Ingleson on 1841 census.  He was christened on 14/7/1806 Farnham.  I do not know the name of his wife (if he married) or any children.  Hopefully, if still alive, he is in the Knaresborough area.

If someone could take a look for him it would help me on my way with this branch of the family.

With many thanks.

Zephyr

Hello Isobel

Many thanks for your reply.  Unfortunately, none of them seem to be the right age.  I worked out that he would be about 35/36.  Do you by any chance have the 1851 census and could check to see if either of the two younger Williams was born in Farnham (I keep forgetting that they don't give place of birth on 1841), otherwise I will place another request on the board.

Thank you very much indeed for your help.

With best wishes.

Hello Isobel

Thank you for your efforts.  The James Ingleson is actually one of William's brothers but I had no census information on him so you have come up trumps on that one.

As you say, William may have died (Fanny may be his widow!!).  I am getting to the stage now where there are lots of little bits of information that I need to check through parish records so hopefully I shall visit Northallerton in the next couple of months.  It's a couple of hours on the train so I need to have lots to go at to make it worthwhile!

Thank you so much again for all your help.

With best wishes.
