I am searching for any connections of an Emily Smith born in Blackburn in c 1885,who married a Richard Edwards at Blackburn in 1906.

Have found Emily on 1891 census details as follows
52 Blakey Street, Blackburn. Parish of St. Pauls.
Father: Joseph Smith 34. Occupation Taylor. Born in Preston
Mother: Catherine 30 Born in Ireland
Elizabeth R daughter 7
Emily daughter 6
Alice daughter 3
Sarah daughter 4mths
John McCabe nephew 5
Hope this is the right one.

Her mother is now Catherine Barnes 49
Step Father James Barnes 44 Cotton weaver
Elizabeth A 17 Sweet Boiler

and they have a half sister Rose A 2

Many thanks for your replies,and I have to say that I have no way of knowing whether it may be the correct Emily Smith,only that there were a couple born Blackburn around the same time.My interest however is the Richard edwards who is showing onthe 1901 Census as the son of a Widowed Maria Edwards,and in 1891 as the son of a John Edwards born in Cefn Mawr in 1849,and the Maria(maiden name Brearley).This John Edwards was the son of an Elizabeth Stephens and a Richard Edwards.This Stephens family being one of the main Families in my Tree.Whilst it may seem as if it will be quite remote on my Tree,I am after all "waifs and strays"!
