Looking for Thomas HART born approx 1780
« on: Thursday 11 January 07 14:01 GMT (UK) »
Hi - can anyone offer any suggestions?  I am trying to find information about my 4xgreat grandfather Thomas Hart.  He married Susanna Woodley in 1803 in Sutton Courtenay and they had 4 daughters Mary in 1804, Susannah in 1807 Priscilla (my 3x great grandmother) in 1812 and Anna Maria in 1814, Thomas's job is given as a horse dealer in these records.  His wife Susannah and youngest daughter Anna Maria were buried in 1814 in Sutton Courtenay.  The only other possible record of him I have is a marriage at St Helens Abingdon in 1824 of Thomas Hart widow to Mary Pocock.

Has anyone any ideas where I might try and find where he came from or where he went to?
 :-\

Debbie

Did you get these details from the Parish Registers?  If not, I have access to them if required, there are some older Harts too.

Hi - Yes thanks KN , I have the transcripts on microfiche from OFHS and I have seen the earlier ones but there is a big gap between the baptism of a Martha Hart in 1738 and the first of Thomas's children which I can't seem to bridge
