Hello again Tracey

Your information appears to be from the IGI with the marriage & the births of David & Mary being extracted records.

In 1841 Elizabeth is living with children James and Mary - which tends to confirm the existence of James. There seems to be no sign of David so he may have died as an infant.
1841 Iron Street Bottisham Cambridgeshire  HO107/72/1  11/16
Elizabeth Ready 35
Mary do 14
James do 10

In 1851 James is living with wife Mary Ann at Waterbeach Cambridge - both aged 20. I don't easily see him after 1851. Did he immigrate?

I tried posting a reply at 1am UK time but Rootschat had frozen!

The marriage as Trish pointed out is a member submission which should never be relied on, This one might bear a greater resemblance to fact than many!  Try the Cambs FHS website at http://www.cfhs.org.uk/Search.html which has baptism and census indexes. Put in REDDY in the baptism index and Isaac shows up with his parents names - same as the member submission

Regards

David

Hi BB

There is, in fact an extracted record for the marriage (from a Bishop's Transcript which is never as good as parish record) - but no extracted records for the parent births nor for the birth of son James. Thus said, I am sure there would be useful information at the site you mention.
