Hi Chris.

Could you please be so kind as to do a lookup in the settlement certificates in Arundel for a James William Taylor, his wife Caroline Charlotte Lillywhite after 1810 onwards.

I am a newbie so hope you can help me out.

Irene

Hi madbadrob

Afraid I do not understand your comment

Just one other - what preceeded it?
Arundel is West Sussex - I never said it was in East Sussex or if I did, can you tell me where so that I can correct it please.

Incidentally, I belief that Lewes does contain a lot of the West Sussex records and vice versa - mainly from the days where they could not decide what went where and which office covered which parishes due to the boundary changes.

Hi Chris,
Please would you look at Ticehurst parishioners 1635 for any Maye/May family as I believe the Maye/May family of Wadhurst were also in Ticehurst as well as having other lands in East Sussex and Kent.
Thanks Anne
