Sinclair family from Kilninver and Kilmelford Parish

I am helping my cousin with her family tree, we have traced the Sinclair line from 1796- 1860 in Kilninver and Kilmelford Parish.

We have George Sinclair married Hellen McNicol on 28 April 1796 (M115242)
children include (C115242)

Isabella born 20 Sept 1797
Mary born About 28 Dec 1798
John born 15 Jan 1799
James born 10 Feb 1803
Archibald born 10 Jan 1811
Ann born 25 Oct 1812

All these births were extracted from batch number C115242 therefore they should be reliable but it is not possible to have 1 child born in Dec and another born the following Jan.

Also, there is quite a big gap between James and Archibald.

Does anyone on the list know anything about this Parish ?

Were the parish records recorded properly/accurately or is there gaps/errors in the records ?

Also, how big was this Parish as there is a lot of Sinclair's in the Parish records, is it possible they could all be related ?

Hellen MCNicol and George Sinclair were my 4x great  parents. Re your query about birth dates  I have found that girls sometimes were not registered immediately at birth and could be registered when the next male was born! Old Parish records for Kilninver/Kilmelford end I think at 1753 but I have not got further back than the above in this line. I am sorry it is  so long since your post and hope you read this.

Sorry .. forgot to add that my ancestor is John(dob 15.1.1799) . He married Margaret Lawson. I have seen the grave with headstone I have seen in the little cemetary in Kilmelford.
