is anyone still looking at the Rider family of Cawood? My great grandmother was part of that family (Her name was Louisa Rosina). One of her brothers moved to Scotland and became the conductor of asn orchestra - it would be great if anyone had any information on him.

Sorry for the delay in answering your query.
I can see a Louisa Rosina daughter of William & Maria Rider Baptised in Cawood on the 29th January 1865.  Is that the right one?  I didn't follow that side of the family any further than the census information that you can see on the other posts.  I was interested in Mary Ryther(Rider) Cryer who married Thomas Harper in 1840.
