Hi Alison

Welcome to Rootschat!

Do I gather that you are just starting your search?

Do you have access to census records or do you have any certificates to help you?

If you can give us some dates I am sure Rootschatters will be keen to help you.

kind regards, Arranroots
 ;)

Hi Aaronroots
Thanks for the welcome. Yes i am just starting up with very little information. I am Sandee's neighbour and she has been showing me around this site.  At the moment i dont have access to any census' but hope to in the future - in the mean time i would really appreciate any help you may feel like giving me!!! I am trying to find the parents of Thomas Maher-Crane i believe he was born around 1859 possibly in Ireland. I have found him on a census with his family with wife Mary Casey c 1865 again believe to be born in Cork Ireland. I have found them with family on a UK census but didn't have full access to gain more info. Children were Florence, Agnes, Jennie, Thomas (my grandfather) and Stephen.

Thanks once again for the offer of help
