 cheers joe.....yes this is all i am getting ...but in our local genealogy group website i found harry bird sproat...but no mention of him in scotlands people..which is strange as all the rest of the children are listed...georgina

Harry is listed as Harry Bird Sproat, aged 14, St Andrew District, Edinburgh, Midlothian. Ref - District 685/2 ED 95/2 Page 21

where did you  find the the 1881 census for strongarabh as the one from scotlands people does not mention harry...cheers georgina
