St. Cattwg is the parish church in Porteynon (Gower Peninsula), Glamorgan, Wales.
I looked at the original of the 1871 Census for Elinor and after a lot of experience seeing Porteynon "butchered" in census records.. I'm convinced that it was a misspelling.. "Portinon Parish"
While Porteynon is next to Oxwich, and many families moved back and forth.. there are no Elinor Beynon's baptised in Oxwich.
I'm really quite sure that your Elinor is the one listed above .. daughter of David and Bridget Fox Beynon of Porteynon.
Once someone moves out of the "Gower Peninsula" ..it's common to see just "Gower" as a birthplace instead of a specific town.
Sometimes the actual town such as Porteynon is listed..
and other times an individual will list the "area" within a town.. like "Overton" which was a section of Porteynon.
Let me know if you need any more help.
