Does anyone have any info on the family of Esther Jane NEWBERY b. Guernsey 14 Jab 1832, daughter of Thomas NEWBERY and Jane De Ste CROIX b. 1 Oct 1806 in Jersey.

Esther Jane married my g/g/father Edward SINGLE 11 Feb 1949 in Jersey.

I have other info on both families, if anyone wants.

Do you have the census at all ? ..... I believe this is your Esther Jane Newberry in 1841 ....... ! with numerous others in the household ..... I can write them out if you don't have it already !!

Hello Annie,

Thanks for your replies.  I do have  some of the census details but did not know about Esther Jane working as servant at age 10.

Perhaps you could list out the names, as you offered, it would be good to check them against what I have.

By the way, do you actually live in Liverpool - I ask because my g/mother (Mable Maud SINGLE)  lived at Wavertree with her first husband

Annie,

I am looking for help in finding information/look up records covering a possible suicide of my grandmother's first husband.

He was Robert Christopher SHIRLEY.

The family was living at 5 Tabley Road in the 1901 Census

Robert Shirley ages 32 b. Liverpool
Mabel Shirley aged 25 b.Jersey
Dorothy Shirley aged 1 b. Liverpool

Mabel Shirley (Mabel Maud Single) was my grandmother - she moved back to Jersey and married my grandfather 1 in may 1905

Any quidance would be appreciated
