marriage certificate of James MacKenzie and Agnes Perry
« on: Wednesday 24 January 07 08:21 GMT (UK) »
I have this transcription of the above marriage of James MacKenzie and Agnes Perry on 31st October 1890 but am unable to find this on Scotlandspeople site.  The marriage took place in the Parish of New Kilpatrick, County of Dumbarton.  The minister was James W. King.  How can I get a copy of this marriage certificate?

Hi Maud and welcome to RootsChat. If the marriage took place in Scotland I'm sure it should be there somewhere on SP. It could be that there is a transcription error in the index. I'll have a browse - but I'm sure someone else will probably find it before me  :)

Hi Maude

The marriage is showing on SP with the details you have: 1890/New Kirkpatrick/Dunbarton. James's surname is showing as McKenzie rather than Mac.

Regards.
