Age on the index for Alice is 33  not 3 - father is given as Geo (victorian transcribers love to abbreviate - sends me crazy)

A photocopy (microfilm print) of any of the BDM records in Tasmania prior to 1899 should be available from the Tasmanian archives at a minimum price - there is no need to pay for a certificate.

Some of the early BDM records contain more information than others - depending on what the Rev wanted to record

I's just checkin' on you Jenn - when I saw that age 3 - I thought it was a daughter - so went looking for Mum

Once again many thanks for the information

I am not sure if there is a link to my own family line, I have pieces of information on over 200 families with the Rayson surname (something of a one name study)

I use some of the other families as a break from my own research, to clear my brain and as been the case in the past find a link to a known family

Your help is really appreciated
