She was at home in 1841.

In the absence of a likely marriage/death on  http://www.freebmd.org.uk/cgi/search.pl or a marriage on the IGI at www.familysearch.org
you'll need to trawl through the indexes quarter by quarter looking for her. These are free on www.ancestry.co.uk.

The NBI for Hulcote stops at 1850 and she's not on there.

One thing occurs to be - Alice age 6 was the eldest child in 1841, whereas in 1851 it was Mary A age 18 who was the eldest. Could Alice and and Mary A be the same girl?

Regards

David

Hi Fiona,

I was just doing a search on the net for detail of the (F. John Goodman M. Mary Ann Tite) marriage and found your post. I think I am a descendant of this marriage if everything lines up. I have two of their children as Thomas and Alfred. Does this line up with your research and if this is the case I love to find out any information you have about the line. We may be related. :) I have most of Alfred's line down.

Thanks,
Craig Goodman

Hi Craig
Yes we are definitely connected...... Alfred Goodman was my husband's maternal gggrandfather and Thomas was married to his paternal gg aunt as well as being his maternal gg uncle if that makes sense.  How are you related?

Hi David
Sorry for not replying sooner..... I haven't looked at my Goodman research for quite awhile but what you said does make sense because some information that I found from another relative said that Alice was married to John Edward Crouch but I found that John Crouch married Mary Ann Goodman

I am Alfred's ggggrandson via  son Francis/Augustus/Hylton, So I guess you husband and I are cousins or something like that.  :) How far have you gone back on John Goodmans side?

I can only take it back one more generation so far...... John Goodman's father John Goodman m Ann King 4 11 1790 Hulcote....... and I have their children & info on some of them. What about you? Do you have the info on the fire that killed Augustus' 2 sisters? Your line moved from Garra to the Camden area after the fire didn't it. I am happy to share what I have found so far
