CHARLES WAUGH BORN 1866 JERSEY

Hello everybody! I wonder could someone do a look-up for me please? I can't seem to find any information for this man other than entries on the 1891 and 1901 census in Leicester. He is 25 and 35 respectively and states his place of birth as Jersey on both. His death record also states born in Jersey. He seems to have simply "arrived" in Leicester at age 25! I've scoured the census records from 1871 but cannot find a similar person anywhere! Please help!!!!!!!!

agree - unless he's really 8 years older and was the son of that retired Leut-Colonel   

I think somebody here has access to Jersey BMDs which may yield more info ...

Yes, I'd thought about that too! But my  mother (89) remembers him well and, although he was much older than his wife, he was doing really well to have been 90 when he died!  Thanks for the interest.
