FROST Family

Hi I am looking for the parents of my great great grandmother Bridget South (nee Frost). On Bridget's shipping records it states that her father was William Frost and mother Ann. Bridget was born about 1829 and the records say that she came from a place called St.Katherine's Way.

I cannot find that place anywhere on a map. By the way Bridget arrived in Australia in 1852
Can someone help me please?

 There is no Townland or civil Parish called St Katherine's Way
            Maybe it could be the name of the Street-Road where they lived.

Hi that was the only information given on the shipping records.Other members from the family said they came from Meelick Co.Clare.

 Hi Meelick is a Townland in Co, Clare. There is also Townland's Meelick in Kerry,Galway,Mayo, Roscommon, Tipperary, Queen's Co,, Longford, and Leitrim.
 You give date 1829 the dates for Ireland are not always right.

Thank you for sending me that Frost family, I knew about them but cannot find a connection to my Frost's, they may have been cousins.
My William Frost was born about 1810 to James Frost and Honora Ryan who did come out to NSW Aust. in 1837 with a married son John and his wife Mary (who was a Frost cousin) and their baby girl Maria. James two sons Michael and Patrick plus a daughter Bridget.

Four years later James's daughter Mary and her husband John Millane arrived with 5 children and 2 Frost cousins. Two more male cousins come out in 1849,
fellow by their parents George Frost and Ann Collopy and four more children.

In 1852 Bridget Frost (my Line) arrived by her-self a year later she married a George South from Buckingham, England. They had 13 children with only 6 surviving. Poor Bridget had lots of relations in Australia But no parents or siblings.

I would love to know what Ann Frost's maiden name was?
