Edwin J White birth record look up please

Im new here, hello all (waves emphatically).

I would like some help in obtaining a birth record - looking for records in Jersey isnt as easy as I thought it would be and any info/help would be greatly appreciated.

I am after the birth record of Edwin J White. He was born in St Helier circa 1852, his father was George White (born c1819 in Stepney, Middlesex, England) and his mother was Maria White (born c1815 in Marylebone, Middlesex, England). I dont have any other information on his birth ie parish but I have found the family in the 1851 Channel Islands census and Edwin hadnt been born yet. They had two other children at the time, George W (5) and Thomas H (3) - I think he had died by the time the 1861 census was taken. Georges sister in law, Philadelphia Plenty, was on the record too. The civil parish district of the census record is St Helier.

Sal - thank you so much. Im confused because I was on this very site last night searching through all the baptism registers and I found it very odd that I couldnt find Edwins information. I even double checked that I hadnt missed it (obviously I did!) - but by the time I double double-checked I had to peel my eyes off the computer screen!
Thank you so much again to both Sal and oonagh for your suggestions. I never think to use genuki - that is one website I seem to overlook yet cant bring myself away when I am on it.
