Begdy/Begelly

Hi,
I don't suppose anyone out there knows if Begdy, in Pembrokeshire, is the same as Begelly?  Maybe Begdy is the original name?

I've got this relative on the 1901 census, Swansea, who says she was born in Begdy, Pembroke. The I found who I thought was her mother born in Begelly, Pembroke and thought it was the same place before all the Welsh names were changed to English by English mob.

I'm English, but from Liverpool, and have lived in Swansea for 30-odd years, so it doesn't count.  I'm a Celt, really.  Those Anglo Saxons have got a lot to answer for!

I live in the Pembroke area myself and although there are some village I haven't heard of or been to they usually come up on Google. But not a peep when it came to Begdy, so I think it is a case of poor writing.
