Hi Mel

Charlotte Elizabeth died St H, Nov 1887 - Jun 1889, page 48

Charlotte Mary Ann born St H, 2nd Mar 1873 - 6th Jun 1874, page 6
James born St H, 16th Jun 1874 - 30th Oct 1875 page 49
Edith Maud born St H, 23rd Mar 1877 - 24th Apr 1878 page 71
Philip George born St H, 3rd Aug 1878 - 24th Dec 1879 page 87

Now... when I was looking up the birth of James, on the same page is a George. Carpenter doesn't appear to be a common name. As he didn't appear in the next census I then looked for a death and found a George who died in St H. Mar 1875 - Jul 1876 on page 48. Could it be that they were twins??

Thank you so much for your help - I have a few certificate to order now.
It does sound as if there were twins born which would be funny as I have twins - I wonder if they run in the family!
Thanks again
Mel
