My.G.Grandmother states that she comes from Billingrope Ireland on1881 census can some one tell me where Billingrope is exactly also where can I find my G.Grandparents marriage cert. if I check in Ireland her name being Annie Mary Rooney and my G.Grandfather born in Belgium his name Alexander Petrus Hermans I have checked the registrars here but cannot find an entry - their children born in England

I have never heard of it, when I google I got a similar request, but its also from you.  Have you any idea if its north ro south, or any other details, as it may be a spelling error.  have you thought of Ballinrobe? http://www.mayo-ireland.ie/Mayo/Towns/BallinR/BallinR.htm

Consider a phonetic version of Ballinrobe?
