name perhaps wrongly transcribed?
« on: Wednesday 31 January 07 22:17 GMT (UK) »
After endless searching for m;y aunt's marriage, I'm wondering if her name has been wrongly transcribed? I've come across an Annie Hook marrying Ernest George Walley in Derby in J/F.M. 1921. My aunt was Annie Hoole wed to an Ernest George Walley. She was born in Nantwich Ches. 1894 so the age could fit in. Am I making any sense? Only I'm beginning to clutch at straws. Hoping someone comes up with a better idea.

Hi Betty
Yikes...You couldn't get any closer......I would put money on it.

Somewhere along the way, Auntie's name got mangled.....I would send for the cert.

Regards,
