I have a Joseph Appleby 1862c married to Catherine McGauran 1877c.They had a son John Appleby born 1894 in Athlone Ireland.Joseph was in the army Royal Artillery Br.Wh. 49179. Catherine and Joseph both died in Nottingham in 1937.Aged 6oyrs and 75 yrs. in Carlton Cemetery.I know all about John Appleby he was my Grandfather,but I can't find any thing about Joseph or Catherine,where they were born or married,have searched BMD no joy.Was Catherine Irish met in Athlone ?? but where did Joseph come from,any help please.

I have now got Death Certificates of Joseph and Catherine,both living at 400,Cavendish Road Carlton at the time of Death,their son John lived at 255,cavendish Road,Joseph died 20th Oct.1937 and Catherine 24th Jan 1937.son John died 1945.Still can't find Joseph anywhere that looks right.
