Tim,

Mary-Jane SANGWIN is my GGGrandmother.  I even have a photo of her, and probably most of her children.

Please reply if interested.  I am intrigued to learn of your interest and from which of her descendents you are related.

Regards,
Michael Oates

at East Stonehouse 5/5/1814 but lived all their lives in Stoke Demerel with their 7or 8 children, could they  be a part of your family.

"Lucaduca",

Your Mary Sangwin certainly comes from the same area, but I don't have any direct link to her, although I bet they were part of the same family.  If you want to see the Sluggett/Sangwin family I have (including a pic of my Mary Jane Sangwin), it is included in the following open access site:  http://kcrolla.tribalpages.com/

She married Lewis Sluggett in 1855.  I'll post another message if a link emerges.

Regards
Michael

Michael , many thanks for  your  reply, my Mary Smith Sangwin is
the daughter of John Sangwin  born 1767 and  Mary Smith Gruzelier., she married my  g'g'"g' grandfather John Warren in 1788, I feel they
are the same family, who knows , I just might get lucky soon.
 regards Lucaduca

I know the Sanguins lived at our neighbouring farm 1891-1906 if I can assist do shout.
Would anyone have access to the Pyworthy parish records?

Lastly - if anyone has any information related to the hamlet of Tinney in Bridgerule/Pyworthy (properties - Tinney Moor or Tines or Tineo, Tinney Farm, etc - please drop me a line)
